Lakers: Whatever!

I called my husband on my way home from work today. When he answered the phone his voice was raspy. I asked him "Darling why is your voice so raspy?" He answered "The Lakers game was awesome and I was screaming, and wore out my voice." ::BIG SIGH::

Why do men get so worked up about other men running in circles around and orange ball??
I think it's because they imagine themselves as a player on the team. Like when you play a video game and you start to lean side to side moving your hands up and down thinking this will help your game performance and it doesn't. I've been guilty of doing that once or twice. :)

I can't wait to buy a new bed. I wake up with my bones cracking.

Married life is wonderful.

90 Years

Can you imagine living at 90 years old? So much life experience built up over the years. David's dad turned 90 years old yesterday June 5. I wish my grandfather lived to be that old. He died before he reached 70.

We're getting ready to have a celebration dinner for him. He is quite the funny man. Before I married David I thought that he didn't like me. Since we've been married he's really warmed up to me. Everytime I see him I give him a kiss on the cheek. Now when it's time to say goodbye he tilts his head awaiting my kiss.

Last week he had to renew his Drivers lisence, he was scared he wouldn't pass. But they ended up only giving him the written and eye test. He ended up passing. He was so excited he went out and got a cell phone. He had a permenate smile all day long.

Baby Husband

David and I have to keep reminding each other that we are husband and wife. The pet names that we have used in our relationship have changed now that we are married.

When I'm at work me and David text each other. I started adding "husband" to the end of each pet name so instead of saying "I love you baby" I now say "I love you baby husband". David laughed at that. But it helps to make seem real. He tells me "I love you sweetheart wife".

I still can't believe I'm a married woman. Even when I wake up in the morning to the sweet melody of his snoring I have to shake him to remind myself, that yes you are married to David. It really did happen.

Last night I asked him to sleep with me on my old bed which is a twin bed, because its so much more comfortable than his bed and the darling husband that he is, he said yes. We only lasted two hours, cause soon after he wiggled out of my bed and went into his own, he told me that he felt antsy cause he couldn't move. So I stayed in my own bed for a few more hours and then joined him in our bed.

We really need to get a new bed. One that is comfortable for the both of us.

HIM

I'm finding out new things about him everyday.

Last night I found out that he doesn't like to eat before he takes a shower.

What is that?
